Wood Chip Boiler installed at Gloagburn

LW Haddow carry out a new biomass installation at Gloagburn Farm

Wood chip boiler at Gloagburn.jpgStarted from humble beginnings in 2003, Gloagburn is now a very popular 100 cover coffee shop in Tibbermore, rural Perthshire, serving the very best in homemade soups sandwiches and home baking. Everything is made on the premises, from the pastry to the jam, which ensures the quality, consistency and freshness. In the farm shop, they source the finest Scottish foodstuffs which sit next to the very popular and extensive range of Gloagburn homemade products.

LW Haddow has just recently carried out a new biomass installation at Gloagburn for Reith Partners (Wood for Warmth). The new biomass system serves the existing farm shop, the new extension of the farm shop and the main farm house. The shop and farmhouse have retained the existing boilers, as a back up system. The installation features a Herz wood chip boiler and accumulator. In addition to the plumbing work, LW Haddow also carried out all electrical work in the Plant Room.
